Shambhala Training
Shambhala Training is a progressive series of weekend retreats that uses the wisdom of meditation to introduce students step-by-step into the path of working with one's mind in the context of everyday life. This program is secular and nonsectarian, founded on the basic principle that the practice of meditation can help people of all walks of life and followers of any spiritual tradition become more awake in their own lives and more compassionate and courageous with the world around them. The Shambhala Training curriculum is divided into two sections: First, The Heart of Warriorship, which consists of five weekend levels (Levels 1 through 5) that provide the instructions and tools to establish and maintain one's own meditation practice. This is followed by the Sacred Path of the Warrior, which consists of seven weekend levels.
“The Shambhala teachings are founded on the premise that there is basic human wisdom that does not belong to any one culture or religion, nor does it come only from the West or the East. Rather, it is a tradition of human warriorship that has existed in many cultures at many times throughout history.” Chögyam Trungpa, Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior

Sadhana of Mahamudra
The Sadhana of Mahamudra is a “hidden treasure” liturgy composed by the founder of the Shambhala Community, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The sadhana is a powerful invocation of the lineages of the Kagyu and Nyingma schools of Tibetan Buddhism and is practiced to help dispel the difficulties of our modern, materialist age.
