Sky Lake is a truly magical place to hold a retreat, meeting or private event. The land is beautiful and rich with birds and other wildlife. The Lodge is secluded and provides a profoundly peaceful environment for the groups who choose to hold their events here, whether for a day, weekend or a week. Sky Lake is available year-round for workshops, spiritual retreats, artistic gatherings, corporate retreats, planning meetings and private events. The Lodge has a delightful 900-sq.-ft. meeting room/workshop space with windows on three sides. The dining room can seat up to 75 people. Sky Lake has a full-size professional kitchen for your group's use. We also have a wonderful cooking staff who can provide your group with a variety of healthy and delicious meals. The Lodge has eight guest rooms, which can comfortably sleep 16-20 people. Each room has a private bath and access to a large deck. For larger groups, the lodge has successfully accommodated overflow participants overnight in our two meditation rooms.

Sky Lake is at the top of Mountain Road in Rosendale, NY at the northern crest of the Shawangunk Ridge. Our 18 acres are covered in cedar and white pine, ancient lichen-covered rocks and ponds where birds love to nest. Deer, fox and other wildlife roam our woods. Sky Lake is quiet, peaceful and secluded - yet we're only a ten minute drive from shops and excellent restaurants.

There are no televisions or telephones in the rooms at Sky Lake and certain cell phones don't work very well on the Ridge. Each room has an excellent ceiling fan and is shaded by tall pines trees. We manage to keep cool in the summer without air conditioning. Our rooms are heated in the fall and winter. The atmosphere at Sky Lake is one of quiet contemplation and the richness of nature.
