Sky Lake is at the top of Mountain Road in Rosendale, NY at the northern crest of the Shawangunk Ridge. Our 18 acres are covered in cedar and white pine, ancient lichen-covered rocks and ponds where birds love to nest. Deer, fox and other wildlife roam our woods. Sky Lake is quiet, peaceful and secluded - yet we're only a ten minute drive from shops and excellent restaurants.

There are no televisions or telephones in the rooms at Sky Lake and certain cell phones don't work very well on the Ridge. Each room has an excellent ceiling fan and is shaded by tall pines trees. We manage to keep cool in the summer without air conditioning. Our rooms are heated in the fall and winter. The atmosphere at Sky Lake is one of quiet contemplation and the richness of nature.

It is beautiful and magical here each season of the year. 

Extended Stay/Group Rates are for stays of 5 nights or more, or groups of 6+.

All rates include Breakfast.

Reservation Policy: A deposit equal to the first night's rate is needed to confirm reservation. Cancellations: full refund with 10 days notice; no refund less than 10 days, no exceptions.
